It consists of two reports, the well known international report, "Record of Hours of Work and Hours of Rest of Seafarers", having as legal platform the ILO Maritime Labour Convention 2006, and a the second "Working Hours Timesheet" report, which is based on German law, § 3b EStG. Other national forms may be added on request. The company logo can be added. (See Vessel forms).

How to Use the System
The Record of Work/Rest Hours shall always be created first. The calendar should then be filled in, marking the field SSH if the day is a Saturday, Sunday or Holiday.

The calculations will be done automatically.

Hours that are filled in the calendar of the Record of Work/Rest Hours, will be transferred to the Working Hours Timesheet for the same person the same month.

Referring to the Working Hours Timesheet, the user has to select the type of day (work day, Saturday, Sunday or Holliday). The total sum of the hours which are to be paid with different percentages, will then be automatically calculated according to the § 3b EStG. Because of the big amount of data that need to be refreshed, the process may take some time.

DNV Maritime Partner AS is currently evaluating the Danish requirement for including a Danish version of the Work/Rest Hours module.
