Together with Sesam, Patran-Pre will let the user model, develop and test a product using computer-based simulation prior to making manufacturing and material commitments.

Major design companies around the world use Patran-Pre in their product improvement process, thereby reducing or eliminating costly prototyping and testing.

By using Patran-Pre, the designers can create and easily modify finite element models - using advanced modelling features or from existing computer-aided parts - seamlessly submit these models for structural/hydrodynamic analysis or capacity checking, and visualise any results or behaviour in other Sesam programs.
